How Do We Give Back?

Our causes are part of who we are and what we do to make our world a better place. In these turbulent times of uncertainty, it is paramount to help others. It is part of our Mission and our company Mandate.

CANCER RESEARCH

We will always strongly support cancer research at Princess Margaret Hospital (PMH) in Toronto. Princess Margaret Hospital is now the largest and most advanced cancer research centre in Canada and the third largest cancer centre in North America. PMH is a leader in every facet of cancer research and treatment - from scientific breakthroughs to everyday nutrition tips to decrease your cancer risk.

ENVIRONMENTAL CAUSES

In 1999, Overloaded Enterprises established E-KO-KIDS and then in 2001, E-KO-KIDS II, in order to help the environment and the world we live in. Through it we support Canadian Food for Children, ReBOOT Canada and World Vision - Teddy Bears Program.

E-KO-KIDS

In 1999, we established E-KO-KIDS, a club for children to learn about and help the environment! This is done through more creative recycling, donations to the needy, and helping the Earth’s atmosphere through planting trees and flowers. School groups and special interest groups have participated.

E-KO-KIDS II

In 2001, E-KO-KIDS II was created. As we were working with companies and business individuals, it became a natural progression to link them into our corporate causes.

Through both E-KO-KIDS programs we also support computer recycling. Landfill sites are at crisis proportion, filled with unnecessary packaging; or packaging and products that cannot be recycled. There are several good associations that divert computers, printers, etc. from landfill sites including reBoot Canada which we have listed. They repair and recycle them to single-parent families and/or low income schools.

In addition to the above services mentioned, please recycle and give your donations to Goodwill, the Diabetes Association, men’s and women’s shelters etc. It helps to create jobs, and provides for people who can’t help themselves. We thank you.
