reBOOT Canada is a non-profit organization providing computer hardware, training and technical support to charities, and non-profits, and educational institutions. Since 1996 reBOOT Canada has distributed over 70,000 pieces of computer equipment to charitable organizations across Canada.
reBOOT Canadaaccepts donations of computer equipment from companies and individuals throughout Canada. At any one of their offices they refurbish as much of the equipment as possible. The equipment is then made available for distribution to organizations across Canada. Over 3,500 organizations have received equipment from reBOOT Canada by applying to the program and working with reBOOT to solve their needs and increase their access to technology.
In May, 2002, reBOOT Canada received the Community IT Hero Award from the Information Technology Association of Canada in recognition of their continued efforts to distribute technology across Canada. reBOOT Canada will:

In Toronto, the donations can be dropped off between 10 A.M. and 4 P.M. Pick-ups can be scheduled and are subject to a $50 fee. There is a $l0.00 fee for monitors.
